Designing my very own PCB

I have been diving into the deep end learning how to design my own custom PCB. I have been following Sparkfun’s incredible tutorials for PCB design in CadSoft EAGLE freeware.

I’ve been enjoying myself and following the directions for this bare boned Arduino. Routing was especially fun and I am not being sarcastic. The tediousness of it was somewhat rewarding. Anyway, the whole thing came out mostly except for that weird blank spot with the copper pours.

Next step will be to figure out what the heck I am doing (and be able to do so without step by step instructions) and what I need to accurately configure a Haptika PCB.

Other than continuing with tutorials, my next step will be researching other EAGLE files and observing which parts will work for my design and how it fits together.

Yay for learning new things with zero experience!
